Each trip is different but not from a weather point of view, The weather in Rodrigues forced us to shorten our stay, which also limited our movements around the island. There wasn’t much trolling, but there was plenty of baiting, jigging and especially slow jigging.

Christine caught a magnificent 35kg GT and another weighing around 15kg in slow jigging.

Philippe was not to be outdone on the dogtooth tuna, with the biggest weighing 41kg and a 23kg wahoo.

They’ve lost count of the number of times they’ve spent on Rodrigues, and we’re already looking forward to next year. Well done to them!
