This 82h transformed into a 58h + a 07h! The anticyclone Southern Mascareignes brings a cold and windy front… We have to adapt! With wind, swell, current and rain, fishing conditions are not top…!

For Philippe and Michel, this very first was successful. Strong current makes jigging and bottom fishing impossible. We have to troll and bait.

• Trolling, a black marlin about 80 kg is released by Michel, wahoos (15kg for the biggest) and numerous yellowfin tunas (the biggest of 18kg) are caught.

• Baiting, Philippe catches beautiful dogtooth tuna of 63.5kg and 28.5kg and Philou (our international Doc) of 56.5 and 46.5kg. The quota of dogtooth tunas over 50kg caught aboard Black Marlin rose up to 221.
