Moshe, Avi, Arik & Shay (Israël)
Moshe wanted his “jigging” friends to discover fishing aboard Black Marlin… Departure at 09.00 PM towards the Eastern Bank. Sea is as quiet as a lac and will remain like this for 89 hours. Trolling activity is low, except a sailfish about 5kg by Arik, a black marlin of 120kg released by Moshe, a few yellowfin tunas, wahoos and barracuda.
On jigging, blue trevallies and lugubris are raging as well as numerous other species: groupers, rainbow runners, jobfish and other seriolas. Moshe brights with a nice doggy of 43kg and his mates smaller ones.
The 4th day is around Rodrigues where Avi and Shay both catch yellowfin tunas of 37.5 & 38.5kg. Finally, each caught nice pieces of fish, despite sea was flat and activity low… but what a great atmosphere!
