Philippe et Christine, Michel et Jean Pierre (France)

This year, Philippe and Christine came with Michel and Jean Pierre for their very first exotic fishing trip, spending 2 nights aboard (2 x 34hours XL trips around Rodrigues). They are almost as comfortable on a boat as in their wine cellars in Vosne Romanee or Gevrey Chambertin! They looked for diversity in species and techniques. They certainly lit candles to Aeolus and Neptune because weather was so mild all along their trip and fishing was excellent actually! They start off with a festival of small yellowfin tunas and the following day with nice series of dorados and wahoos on trolling. While fishing catalina, a marlin rejected the bonito! We shall see tomorrow! As usual, sunset is paying off.Jean Pierre catches a dogtooth tuna of 47kg. The 3 others anglers are not outdone and just take advantage of the activity with giant  trevallies, jobfish, seriolas and other small doggies, that is to say about a hundred of pieces during these first two days.
