Amazing! Our anglers have been in Rodrigues for 2 weeks now and the nice weather conditions they already had will remain as good for the two following 37h trips. Trolling is quiet with nice yellowfin tunas though, (between 15kg and 20kg), dorados, few wahoos even if food is dense, jobfish, rainbow runners, trevallies. Bottom fishing by night within deeper bottoms makes come up a fish as scarce as ugly: an oilfish (Ruvettus pretiosus) or ruvet.
By this oil sea, live bait finally challenges. 4 other sailfish and 2 black marlins (respectively 45kg and 150kg for the biggest of each specie) will fall in love with our small bonitos. Nice doggies (57.5kg, 50kg and 40kg for the heaviest) complete this beautiful tableau of the season end. Doggy counter now displays 195 doggies over 50 kg, since the beginning of our activity. Our 3 friends have gone back with more souvenirs than dreams.
