Claudius, Jacques, Marc (France) & Frans (Netherland)
The cyclone Imelda, has so far proved rather fickle and uncertain for a whole week. Finally it came over Rodrigues on 16th April, without any damage. Meanwhile, Claudius and Jacques who should have gone for a trip in high deeps from 12 to 14 April, have become experts in belote, with their respective mates Papou et Mamoune. On the evening of the 17th, we head East with a very rough sea and rain. Frans, who already came in January, perfectly knows what bad weather conditions are. This unstoppable squad will not persist neither jigging, nor drifting. However, they will have great fun trolling on their light tackles. Claudius is used to heavy spinning and catches a yellowfin tuna of 50kg and a black marlin about 100kg that he releases. Two other marlins of 110kg and 130kg, many yellowfin tunas (of 50kg for the biggest), wahoos, dorados (of 17kg for the biggest) and a doggy of 26kg will compose excellent results for this strong trip.
