The weather conditions forced us to start with a 65h Xtreme trip on the Hawkins Bank. The activity on the surface did not reward our “trolling team” as they should have been. 55 pieces of fish were caught with yellowfin tunas, wahoos, trevallies, dorados, jobfish and sharks. Because of a rough sea, the XL trip supposed to take place on the Eastern Bank finally finished in a 34h-trip around Rodrigues. That was actually for the greatest joy of Dede la Taupe who caught his first blue marlin almost 200kg on trolling. A shark of 80kg was caught on a jigging tackle thanks to a collective work from the anglers. These 2 trophies accompanied about twenty other pieces.
