The 58 hours 3XL trip on the Eastern Bank helped us to forget the first 2 days around Rodrigues which were very quiet: 3 marlins including 1 black marlin of 220 kg trolling and 1 of 180 kg on baiting. The 3rd one was tagged and released. A beautiful move from Geoffrey’s first marlin. Baiting  is good with  doggies, jobfish, groupers etc.. We have to notice however that we have had exceptional weather conditions for Rodrigues and also a heat wave for a few days.
