This German Team, very friendly, comes for the first time to Rodrigues. We leave for an 82h on the Eastern Bank, celebrating Mattias’ birthday at sea.
Very nice trolling activity with beautiful yellowfin tuna (33kg the biggest) …and only 1 wahoo!

The current is strong (1.8 knots) and makes jigging and baiting difficult. Only a few dogtooth tunas, jobfish, trevallies and a barracuda weighing more than 20 kg were caught. A shark of about 80 kg as well as red snapper and red corail trout were released. This fishing session could not bring the usual varieties.
