As every year, these Italian customers make 3 fishing sessions of one day around Rodrigues. Weather conditions are not very pleasant (wind, currents, choppy sea) without being too difficult. However multifishing contact has been achieved with jigging/bottom fishing, trolling and live baiting.

Trolling, tunas around 15kg, wahoos and dorados were caught.

On jigging/bottom fishing, there was a large variety of jobfish, groupers, red snappers, rainbow runners, a nice giant trevally and for the very first time: a 25kg ray.

On live bait, we registered 8 nice strikes out of 8 bonitos downward, but only 3 nice doggies (40kg for the biggest).

No billfish this time, even if we saw 2 sailfish playing around. Appointment is taken for next year… Fish will be bigger!
