We had 3 nice days around Rodrigues (sea almost quiet, low wind, small swell… just as activity is!). During the last trip, we had to run away because of sharks! Well! Jean Philippe was lucky since he fought for 2hours and a half with a bull shark estimated 250kg, on live bait… but the bonito’s hook caught the dorsal fin. It did not tired! We finally released it in excellent conditions.

On trolling, beautiful yellowfin tunas (25kg for the biggest), 2 dorados of 12.5kg and wahoos liked our rapalas Xrap 40.

We spent a lot of time looking for marlin with live yellowfin tunas… unfortunately.
Small bottom fish come to complement nights on bottom fishing. Jean Philippe was a hero catching 2 pieces on a single hook!

This trip was great, very friendly! … still regretting another big fish – such as a billfish or a doggy – for example!
