Why “Carmelite Team”? In honour of TRIPEL KARMELIET Belgium beer which reached Rodrigues to the delight of our 3 mates!

As a matter of fact, weather forces us to shorten our 2nd trip of 89h to 55h around Rodrigues. This last trip is not extraordinary.

As concerns trolling: yellowfin tunas (the biggest of 19kg), wahoos (the biggest of 24kg) and dorados. 2 sailfish released, about 30 and 35kg, by Marc 1 (Spain) and Marc 2 (Belgium) for whom it was his very first tropical fishing trip.

As concerns jigging: some doggies (biggest of 14kg) 1 giant trevally released about 25kg,jobfish, red pieces (red coral trouts, two spot red snappers, lunar-tailed coral trouts) and bluefin trevallies. 1 white tip shark about 80kg, released by Marc 2 (Belgium) These friends end up the season with 20 varieties of fish.

Black Marlin well deserved her holidays in Mauritius since mid-June where she will undertake a rejuvenation cure.
