Christophe, Jacques, Jacky, Guy.
For the 2nd time this year, sea is flat for this 58h on the Eastern Bank. A blue marlin unhooked while trolling on Marlin’s Bd. A 21kg yellowfin tuna, 21kg wahoos as well as a 46kg dogtooth tuna caught on live bait let us imagine the best for the rest of the trip…
. On the following day, reality takes over! Every single technic seems difficult… Fortunately sunset enlightened our day with 2 nice doggies including one of 68kg by Guy – the 223th over 50 kg aboard Black Marlin and another one of 35kg by Jacky.
Bottom fishing and jigging also bring the usual palette of trevallies, rainbow runners, seriolas and other coloured fish.
Along the additional one-day trip, on 3rd March around Rodrigues, with a nice trolling activity with nice wahoos and yellowfin tunas, in an excellent atmosphere, Christophe catches his first sailfish. Champagne Christophe!
