England – Canada – Australia. These 3 families met once again 7 years later in the middle of the world! Because when you come from Australia, England and Canada, the middle of the world is of course, Rodrigues Island! A flat sea all along these 3 days! If families are fantastic, atmosphere is unique and even dreamlike. All the fish also want to join the party.On trolling wahoos (24kg for the biggest), yellowfin tunas –(19kg for the biggest), dorados.On baiting doggies (30kg for the biggest), jobfish, red snappers, red coral trouts, sharks, yellowtail snappers, bonitos (2 species). That was finally a nice variety of fish, which actually contradicts a little the preceding quote: “quiet sea, quiet activity”. This also confirms that fishing is not an exact science. Just a piece of advice: do not wait 7 years to meet again on Rodrigues Island!
