Jerome, Gerard, Loic (France) & Olivier (Reunion)

The way to the Eastern Bank for a 58 hours session is harsh: wind over 20knots, a 2.5 meters swell an nice rains. On arrival, we catch a few beautiful yellowfin tunas. At sunset, jigging and baiting activity is impressive until 11.00 PM, doggies between 20 and 30kg, trevallies and many jobfish.

The following day is more laborious with few pieces trolling, jigging and even live baiting. Then, as the previous day, frenzy starts again at night with bigger pieces: jobfish over 13kg, doggies over 30kg including one of 52kg (the 205^th doggy over 50kg caught aboard Black Marlin) by Olivier. After this 2^nd beautiful evening on the Eastern Bank, we come back during the night and reach Rodrigues at dawn, where we gather lots of live bonitos. Marlin fishing on live bait was unfortunate. However, nice wahoos (17 and 18kg) and yellowfin tunas (19kg for the biggest) were also caught in the morning. In the beginning of the afternoon, we find a wrecking net and enable us to have fun with dorados, wahoos and yellowfin tunas.
