It is the last trip for our National Mimi, sharing the boat. A beautiful dogtooth tuna was lost on baiting after a long rush and a few medium ones (between 30 and 40 kg) have followed the jigs but let them go. Some wahoos and dorados hooked at the beginning of the afternoon after a quiet morning. Around 4.00 PM there was a hit on the outrigger and a harsh rush of marlin on the 130 lbs line. Despite our efforts to bring the lines back and turn the boat, the reel was spooled before spitting out the hook.
However, we really made up for it since we caught a beautiful blue marlin 30mn afterwards.
