A magnificent session on the Eastern bank and around Rodrigues for this first group sharing with Mathieu, Michel, Sandro and Steeve.

The climb up the bank at night was acrobatic… and so was the descent. Yes, the weather is capricious at the start of the season.

The jigging was surprisingly good with lots of catches, but unfortunately no big fish, with no fewer than 25 different varieties: several species of trevallies, seriola, groupers, jobfish…

Baiting was not to be outdone either.

As for trolling, Michel caught his first billfish with this nice sailfish, and a number of mahi mahi and other wahoos rounded off the picture.

Well done, gentlemen, you held firm despite the conditions.
