Gerard had received as a birthday gift a voucher for 34 hours trip fishing on the Black Marlin with Yann.
Excellent idea…… The message has been well received? He is accompanied by Dominique, who is also a fisherman in Reunion Island.
Weather at sea is tonic on the 1st day, and calms down well on the 2nd. Trolling activity is very nice, especially for yellowfin tunas
(22 kg the biggest), a few wahoos (20 kg the biggest), a dorado of 11 kg… and an anorexic sailfish, stalled before touching the leader!

Jigging brings its share of colors and varieties with a beautiful 39kg GT caught in 90m depth. Unfortunately, she had a very bad time climbing up.
Another 10kg GT was released. In the end, 14 varieties caught within these 2 days, auguring good for the beginning of the new season.
