Here we go again for this French team of regulars: Alain, Gilles, Laurent and Philippe. Two big trips are planned: Hawkins 89h and Banc de l’Est 82h.

The weather was splendid and so was the activity.

2 magnificent dogtooth tuna weighing 64 and 65 kg were caught, bringing the total to 271 dogs over 50 kg since the start of our activity.

Although jigging was difficult on the first trip, it was better on the second with a good number of trevallies, jobfish, groupers, etc.

Our trolling team was rewarded with 3 blue marlins (around 250, 300 and 600 lbs), the last of which was caught by the tail and died after a memorable rush.

There weren’t many wahoos, but plenty of yellowfin tuna were also reeled in, all in a great atmosphere.
