The Clash of the Titans France/Israel happened 4 years later, on the Hawkins Bank. Once again, the weather conditions were exceptional: 5 to 7 knots of wind. This enabled us to troll with 4 jigging tackles and to see wahoos between 20kg and 30kg jumping up to 4m high onto the lures… Dancing with the lures! We must note two beautiful releases: a blue marlin of about 100kg and a hammer head shark around 80kg who found out their freedom. A white tip shark estimated about 150kg cut the line at the boat. We had multiple adrenalin rises on jigging for all the 5 fishermen together and finally 130 fish on board, including the 2 biggest doggies between 40kg and 50kg, also awesome seriolas and 38 releases.
