Fabrice, Daniel, Laurent & Kevin (France)
Weather is nice for this sympathetic team on the Eastern Bank for 82hours. Lead by Fabrice, two of them discover exotic fishing. No one gets worked up. For them, everything is nice, everything is good, burst of laughter are required.
Always happy to see a friend fighting fish, they are rewarded! Activity has well increased compared to the previous trips: yellowfin tunas are more numerous but not very big (17kg), wahoos are present (29kg for the biggest) and for once, hips of dorados (12kg).
Laurent catches his very first black marlin about 180 kg, on live bonito. Kevin loses another one, after an hour fight, on a light line before releasing a sailfish about 30kg in good conditions. 2 beautiful sharks were released (white tip and scalloped hammerhead sharks).
Bottom fishing and jigging were successful with dogtooth tunas, jobfish, lugubris trevallies, rainbow runners and a nice palette of colours with bottom fish.
With 25 different varieties caught within 4 days, the Touch’ny Team equalizes the record of number of different species caught aboard Black Marlin. Well done guys!
