Here it happens and not only dealing with fish! It was around Rodrigues that Claudius and Charles wanted to fish for 2 days (15 and 16 October) high deep (between 200m and 450m depth), looking for strange species like butter fish, comete grouper, nice jobfish or long tail by 400m depth . Their jigging rod is equipped with a special electrical reel for these high depths. At 08.30 PM, while the Black Marlin heads up at 7 knots speed, it stands completely still… weighing down! What happened? Yann tells: “The Black is tied up to the bottom with a 40mm diameter rope in both propellers”. Cyril Faure immediately came with his boat l’Oiseau des Iles to tow us. At 06.00 AM, we arrived the harbour where we could remove more than 30 meters rope around the propellers and shafts. Thank you Cyril! It should have been a  very deep fishing session!
